Picture of the Month

After quite a long while - much longer than I would have liked - I find that I have at last enough time to resurrect the Picture of the Month.

Even before I put the POTM on hold, I found it increasingly difficult to find interesting pictures to discusss. I have no idea what you guys out threre are interested in, after all. So if you have any picture that you'd see analysed here, please send it over.

Anything in the public domain goes, as well as pics of your ancenstors that you'd like to be dated.
