The images on this page are taken from the book "Neu eröffnete Welt-Galleria" (newly opened world gallery) by Abraham a Santa Clara, printed 1703. It depicts members and associates of the Vienna court, then various costumes throughout the world, but the costumes of more "exotic" locations are as trustworthy as they ever were in those costume books: Not at all. Which is why I left them out.
